Hi, My sister is suffering from Incisional hernia and thickened uterus.. already she had 2 c.section surgeries and 1 surgery for hernia now again doctors are telling to do surgery... is laparascopy works for her or she need to go for surgery only.. if at all how much cost it takes and how many days she should take bedrest.. presently she is using hernia belt is that helpful.. please let me know

Whether laparoscopy will be better or open surgery that one can decide only after seeing the patient. Cost varies from  hospital to hospital, city to city and upon the room category. But on an average costs somewhere around 2 lacs. Hernia belt as such is of no use
