In left eye black dot appears.

When i see the sky,in my left eye black dot appears.Am i facing any serious trouble? Kindly advice.

Hello Your symptoms are suggestive of floaters These appear due to condensation of collagen fibrils present in the vitreous cavity of eye These are benign and don't need treatment Only way to get rid of them is to avoid them Having said that it is provisional diagnosis Kindly consult local ophthalmologist and get proper eye examination done Regards

You may be having a floater in the right eye. If this has appeared suddenly, it's better u consult an ophthalmologist in person just to be sure that there is no serious retinal problem.   Also other causes of alarm would be a sudden increase in the number of floaters or appearance of flashes.
