Try to find a hobby. Yes, it helps. It can be anything- music, art, quora, etc. I started photography and started from very basic things. Met a lot of people with same interest and learned from them too. It helped me to be busy and focus on more positive things in life. Set achievable goals and focus on them. I used to participate in competitions and try to win them most of the times. Even is you know you’ll lose, just participate. It will give you an experience on how things work, how amazing people are when they compete with each other. Read positive literature and listen something good everyday. Surround yourself with people who have plans and solutions instead of excuses. Ask help from them and sometimes help them too with their lives. Learn that no one is perfect. Everyone has flaws and thats what makes us all beautiful. Read biography of any great man and you’ll find how they managed to pass the hardships to become something remarkable. Remember that Depression is temporary. It will never last. But if you feed it everyday, it might get over you and make it hard to live. Think of your parents. Everyone doesnt have one. Think how hard it will be for them to live without you. Think of your friends and the people who love you. God never gives everyone a second chance. Failures, heartbreaks, loss, accidents, rejections are all part of life. You will face these again in the long run of your life. Everyday is a new challenge and be ready to face it. Dream of a future you want to live in. One day this depression wont even matter to you and you will laugh at all the things that made you sad. Patience is the key. Depression never ends in a day. It takes time to get over it. Believe that you can win over it, and you surely will.

Hi I would recommend electrical treatments as they are time tested. ECT is evidence based. RTMS is effective but individual variation may be there
