Improper and uncomfortable bite for tmd

2019-11-07 04:01:02
Why do I feel so much uncomfortable and improper bite during the bite correction period through braces for tmd? Is it normal to feel such thing?  after 2.5 years of treatment for tmd I can chew food more comfortably and bite more comfortably ( upper and lower molar teeth are touching slowly). Does it indicate I am curing slowly? Please help!

Hi It is normal of having discomfort during the course of braces treatment...The progression of symptoms is based on the treatment...we can tell whether it is progression or not only when we can know what kind of tmd problem you are having and what kind of treatment you are undergoing...
Next Steps
Complete clinical and also radiological examination is necessary to check for progression of tmd problem
