The symptoms described by you appears to be of Allergic rhinitis (AR)... Firstly we need to rule out the complications of AR like sinusitis, otitis media with effusion and fungal infection and others .... Then we need to find out the offending agent which is causing this allergy... Many times the offending agent can be avoided and if they can't be avoided then we need to give immunotherapy. Immunotherapy is given by 2 routes by injections and by mouth. The risks are more with injections, but it's more time tested... Oral or sublingual immunotherapy is a new concept and risk free and thought to be equally efficacious.
