I went to pulmologist he conducted chest xray and sperometer test both aare normal but is sperometer PEFR is 71 and FEV1 fvc are with in normal range .Doctor prescribed me maxiflow 250 Do I have asthama.Can Asthama diagnoide only with PEFR value in Sperometer test .

Asthma should need not be diagnosed by pefr, early airway obstruction will also be a diagnostic tool for asthma, pefr says tht, maxiflow will give symptomatic relief to u.

continue maxiflow and repeat pft aftr 2wks.
