I want to start with oral minoxidil

2024-02-18 03:41:36
I am suffering from androgenic alopecia. I have used topical minoxidil, done Prp 3 sessions in past 4 months but the condition has become worse visibly. My sister is almost bald and needs a wig now and I do not want to wait till that time to address my issue since I feel It could be hormonal/ genetic. What all tests I should get before consulting any doctor In my past I was put on spironolactone as well. I would like to consider similar options now but with minimal on hormones(negatively).

Treatment depends on the grade....You are suffering from hormonal changes causing Androgenetic alopecia causing hair fall. It's completely stoppable even regrowth of hair is possible with certain medications without any side effects. Treatment depends on the grade of hair loss. So, it's a must for diagnosing which grade, you are in for an effective treatment. Please  send photos of your head, by direct online consultation for accurate diagnosis and proper treatment.
