I've problem in my vacant tooth.

My left molar tooth was completely decayed and only root is left there. Usually I don't feel any feel there. But from 3-4 days I noticed a soft swelling there. When I press it with my tongue then it hurts. I've visited doctor 7-8 months ago she suggested that I pull out the root. And then implement a tooth or fix a bridge. I don't want to implement a bridge. Is there any other option??

Hi, Ofcourse there are other options other than bridge . By the condition you’re explaining , you certainly have an abscess but there is a solution depending upon the severity of your abscess where we can do extraction and immediate implant or a delayed implant post healing of the socket and infection elimination.
