I had thyroid during my pregnancy.. after delivery also I am suffering from thyroid.. can i get rid of thyroid and gain weight.. or else it will be their with me till the end..

Get the following tests done - antithyroid anti bodies if they r positive the thyroid is autoimmune in nature and medicine would be life long also note in most of the cases the thyroid medication is continuous for long time and u have to be in touch of doctor for guidance don't ever stop them on your own as even if tests come normal it's because of medicine and not because thyroid problem is gone.
