Look like granular pharyngitis
Granular pharyngitis is a chronic inflammation of the throat where the lymphoid follicles on the posterior pharyngeal wall enlarge, giving a granular / nodular appearance.
Common in people with chronic throat irritation or recurrent infections.

Causes
• Repeated upper respiratory infections
• Post-nasal drip (sinusitis / allergic rhinitis)
• GERD / LPR (acid reflux)
• Mouth breathing
• Dust, pollution, smoking exposure
• Chronic tonsillitis
• Habitual throat clearing
1. Treat Underlying Cause
• Allergic rhinitis: antihistamines, nasal steroids, saline rinse
• Sinusitis: antibiotics (as indicated), nasal sprays
• GERD/LPR: PPIs, dietary modification, avoid late-night meals
• Mouth breathing: treat nasal obstruction (septum, adenoids, allergy)

2. Local Throat Treatment
• Alkaline gargles or salt-water gargles
• Steam inhalation
• Mucolytics (for post-nasal drip)
• Hydration
• Avoid irritants (smoke, spicy foods, cold air)
