I don't know if it is a mental illness

I don't know how to say it but I forget the feeling of being in time or moment everytime, for me time moves faster. I don't remember things except of important ones. Every emotion seems meaningless to me now, My grades are also degrading day by day because I'm not able to focus not only on studies but on many things in my life, I'm facing a lot of mood swings as well, sometimes when I right or speak I feel that I'VE shortage of words. My emotions either get very extreme, very low or sometimes I don't feel any emotion. What should I do now? Is there any need to see a psychiatrist ?
