Hypothyroidism
Recently diagnosed hypothyroid, took year and i half to diagnose and syptoms going wild. Now on 100 of levothyroxine and wprst symptom is this neck/throat pressure which is horrendous makes me panic and cant sleep due to it, makes me feel my eyes are popping and i struggle to swollow at times and if i move onto my side in the night i wake up gasping for breath due to something obstructing airway. Meds have made no difference. What do i do?
Your symptoms are not the symptoms of thyroid dysfunction and probably you are suffering from reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder which gets triggered by thyroid medications. You may need to take anti reflux medications for few weeks for long term benefits. Continue thyroid medications
