My wife is having most of c/f of hypothyroidism like cold intolerance, fatigue, enlarged thyroid gland, hair loss, facial puffiness etc, .After inv we found that her T4 is 0.4 & TSH is very much elevated nd I.e. 341.we started throxin 25 mg 10 days ago,. What more should we do? Kindly advice..

If she has no heart disease you can increase the dose to 100 microgram. 25 microgram won't be sufficient for her. Repeat TSH should be done only after 6 weeks. TSH levels don't change much before that
