My dad had diagnosed with hypoglycemia two days back due to overdose of sugar tablet ,he was discharged from hospital after treatment.But right now he is suffering from sore tongue( reddish tongue) and he complaints that his taste buds are not functioning properly.What medicine should be used to treat this condition.

Hello.. He is getting hypoglycemia on tablets so his doses needs to modify.. Sore tongue may be due to general systemic illness, or maybe medicine induced.. Consult endocrinologist for detailed history of your medicines and examination..
