Hydronephrosis
My mother was diagnosed with kidney stone 5 months ago and has undergone PCNL surgery. Recently she complained of severe flank pain and CT KUB has been done, which revealed polynephritis and hydronephrosis. She has taken antibiotics for 15 days and a DJ stent was put.
Later stent has been removed, but USG KUB still shows hydronephrosis. The doctor says there is no obstruction and the hydronephrosis is not a problem. But I am worried about recurrent infection. Kindly advice. 🙏
