I am 9 weeks pregnant. I consulted a obstetrician she suggested me fol123, multivitamin, eterna doxinate and also hucog 5000 injection every week for 5 weeks. Medicines i am okay but dont know why the injections. I feel more tired and nausea after this weekly injection. 3 injections till now i had. I doubt if these injections are even safe. She told me during TVS ULTRASOUND that there is little bleeding around uterus hence these injections will be good. BUT i am doubltful

What are the indications when the patient requires these injections are Evident bleeding or spotting Age of the patient more than 35 Previous history of multiple abortions Conception after treatment You will have to share the picture of the ultrasound report where the doctor has mentioned internal bleeding If you are not bleeding evidently and the answer to all the indications mentioned is no You only need folic acid supplement nothing else If the ultrasound mentions a hematoma Oral progesterone is what you need Not the injections For your future reference you are adviced to put foth these questions to your treating doctor If the doctor is unable to give you satisfactory response time to change your doctor
