Sir I have an eyesight of -4.25 spherical & -0.5 cylindrical in right eye -4.50 spherical & -0.5 cylindrical in left eye How to read this eye sight ?? -4.75 in right and -5.0 in left ?? OR -4.25 in right and -4.5 in left ??

you need to understand that you have both spherical and cylindrical numbers. So if you tell someone regarding your eye number it will be - Right Eye - -4.25 Dioptre Sphere Left eye- - 4.5 Dioptre Sphere With -0.5 Dioptre Cylinder in Both eyes.
