How to make sure there is no pregnancy

Hi i'm 25F, Last month I had protected intercourse while I was on my period. Then, 26 days after Day 1 of that period, I had unprotected intercourse because I thought it was a safe day. Today is Cycle Day 33 and I still haven’t gotten my period. I had a similar delay last year, when my cycle was around 35 days. If I take a urine pregnancy test now and it is negative, can I consider that reliable, or should I repeat it after a few days? What is the most reliable way to confirm that I am not pregnant? Also, if the test is positive, can I legally have a medical abortion in India through a gynecologist/clinic? I am an unmarried adult and would like to know whether I can obtain treatment based on my own consent without requiring my parents’ or family’s consent, and whether this can be kept confidential. I do not intend to self-medicate and would consult a doctor.

You can fo beta hcg blood test for confirmation Abortion is legal in India.  It's confidential.  Only your consent will be required. If beta hcg is negative for pregnancy, you can take medicines to induce your periods Connect for discussion

A negative urine test 7 days past your expected period is usually reliable, but given your cycles sometimes run to 35 days, it's reasonable to repeat it in 3 to 4 days if your period still hasn't started. A blood beta-hCG test is the most reliable single check and can confirm or rule out pregnancy earlier and more accurately than a urine kit.
Next Steps
As an unmarried adult, you can consent to your own medical termination of pregnancy through a registered gynaecologist, without needing a parent's or family member's involvement. Your consultation stays confidential under normal doctor-patient confidentiality rules.
Health Tips
Please see a gynaecologist soon rather than waiting it out on your own, since timing affects which options stay available to you.
