How to maintain blood sugar less than 6%

2024-08-26 07:56:57
I have been suffering from diabetes for more than 2 years. My first Hba1c was 7.5% and then progressively decline to 5.7%. But last two test report shows 6.4 and 6.2% respectively. I am taking metformin 500 twice a day. Restricted the food amount. Eating loads of fruits, vegetables, Ragi, sugar free foods, Bajra. However, it's coming under 6%. Exercise amount quite low for me. Due to bad weather, I can't go outside always. So, it hampers the physical activity. I joined swimming classes and completed it. But I couldn't continue it due to rainy days. Kindly suggest what to do.

Hi., Make sure you're taking fibre rich diet, Take fruits with low glycemix index like apple, guava and pear. Physical activity is must. You can do indoor exercise, yoga. With that adding one more medicine for diabetes can help you.
