How safe is Pan D and Zofer during pregnancy? Why is it mentioned in some sites that it causes birth defects in fetus? How true is that? Please answer.

To my knowledge both of these drugs are safe in pregnancy. I have not come across any reference where these drugs have been blamed for birth defects.
