How can we differ heart attack / gaspain
I am suffering with pains in my left and right chest and back pain some times these days and I am very confused that to know the difference gas pain and heart attack pain is mine?

Hello,
1. Heart pain is usually central or left sided pain radiating to left arm inner border, shoulder and jaw and is a tightness sensation choking feeling with sweating and breathing difficulty which increases on walking and reduces on taking rest.
2. Gas related pain usually gets better after walking and aggravates on lying down after having food.
But, the presentations can be atypical so its safer to get an ECG Echo TMT done to rule out heart disease objectively.
