Hello I have had a rapid test (autotest vih) at 4 weeks and 3 and a half months and a similar test but in a clinic at 4 months all became negative. I have descoit lupus and I wanted to know if I should test again or not. and should i trust the rapid tests? I have heard that tests can give false positives with some autoimmunes. can they also give false negative results too? i also want to know if one should test for hiv after protected sex. or not.
