If while drawing blood test for hiv, if before me one aids patient blood was drawn by nurse. After 4-5 min he took my blood. I am confused whether he used same cotton ball. Before using he put cotton ball where that aids patient was seated. After one week of this incident I had diarrhea like water. And fever. I went to hospital. Within one day fever is normal and diereha is somewhat getting better. Can just used cotton ball cause infection. My post pep dna pcr is not detected and antibody after 12 days of pep is not reactive. This cotton ball incident happened on post pep 12 days. Hiv specialist is saying that you don't have decease. He recommended me to pyshtrict treatment. Does any hiv expert understand my situation and can guide me regarding my test, symptoms, and anxiety. Does I need to repeat test? I am too nervous and crying every day. Please help.
