HIV detection tests

I would like to undertake HIV test. There are many tests available. Which one should I go for ? And also if the result is HIV negative what is the probability that it is false negative ?

Hello.... The most common HIV test is the antibody screening test (immunoassay) if you test negative on an antibody test taken 3 months or longer after your last possible risk of possible exposure to HIV, you can feel safe in assuming that you do not have the virus...consult general physician.
