Hit on the foot by speeding bike

I met with an accident by a speeding bike and was hit on my foot. The doctor checked there is no bone injuries, But due to the swelling the doctor prescribed Trypsin Chymotrypsin tablets. and IFam -gel, I have used the tablets 3 times a day for 3 weeks the swelling has reduced but it still appears and pains. I can now walk without sandals. with sandals it pains and swells .Pl advise

There can be a significant soft tissue injury without bony injury. It ll take time to heal..Limb elevation and compression will help in reducing the swelling and pain during to swelling.

Get x-rays done to rule out fracture. Even if there is a sprain, you need rigid immobilisation with a slab or cast as required for 3-4 weeks.
