Since you had a hard hit on forehead 8 hours ago and now have severe headache, this should not be ignored. Good signs: • No vomiting • No loss of consciousness But warning signs after head injury include: • Increasing severe headache • Eye pain or blurred vision • Drowsiness • Confusion • Repeated vomiting Your pain can be from: • Local injury swelling • Concussion (mild brain injury) • Sinus pain triggered by impact Because headache is severe and started after injury, it is safer to get examined physically. You may need a CT scan if doctor suspects internal injury. Do not ignore worsening symptoms. If headache increases or any new symptom appears, go to emergency immediately. Based on your symptoms, this may require proper clinical assessment and prescription. You may book an online consultation with me for detailed evaluation and personalised treatment plan.
