What you have now is called as subclinical primary hypothyroidism. More often than not it is because of an autoimmune condition called as hashimoto’s thyroiditis. If the TSH is more than 10, evidence shows that you would benefit from treatment. Meet your local endocrinologist for optimal treatment.
