High temperature - fever issue
Hello Sir, This is for your kind information that my child is having high fever even after taking the calpol 250 mg. I have given ur prescriptions as u prescribed yesterday at Sahara hospital. Prescription is attached for ur reference. I have given Calpol 3 doses yesterday. First around 2' O clock afternoon, 2nd dose 7:30 evening, 3rd dose around 12:45 night , 4th dose in 6 am today morning.
His body temperature stays high. After giving calpol at 6am morning. I taken body temperature through digital thermometer at 6:30, it is showing 101.7
Plz suggest further.

If fever persisting you can try ibugesic 3.5ml if child is passing urine well and not dehydrated. As already on antibiotics you can wait for 25 hours to see response. But if feeling that no improvement and child is becoming sicker don't hesitate to review back and do blood investigation for the child. Do tepid sponging also to relieve fever and try to give lot of fluids.
