High hba1c and sgpt

My hba1c is 6.8 and sgpt is 63, is this controlled with diet and excercise and i should start medicine

HbA1c of 6.8% suggests Frank Diabetes and require treatment. 5.7-6.4% is a prediabetic range. Family history, weight BMI, meal pattern etc plays an important role in deciding treatment plan.
