I got postive report for covid on 24th April and again on 10th may, finally getting negative on 29th may. It was moderate level infection with high fever cough and weakness. I am still very weak and my pulse also increased after covid. As a precaution I got myself tested for lipid profile... The results were shocking. .. Cholestrol 254,trigylcerides 444,hdl 45, ldl 174, vldl 88,non hdl 209...An year ago I got myself tested and reports were about okay(trigylcerides were 260,rest everything was withing limits or just borderline)... I was physically active just before covid infection and can have control on my diet... Kindly let me know how to go for the treatment. Is medicine necessary? What else should I do? Regards Ajay

Try diet  and physical exercise for 3 months . Then repeat the Lipid profile, for deciding on treatment.

The report is significantly raised. Requires dietary modifications, weight loss , stopping alcohol and physical activity followed by repeat test after 4 weeks. Treatment is required if levels remain high.

Yes first step is control on diet. Physical activity for 30-45 mins. Stop fried and outside food. Post COVID reports are not that reliable. Do lipid profile after a month. If it is still high need treatment
