Heart Enzyme

My mother (65) suffered recently from lung infection, later through diagnosis it revealed that she had copd. This is the first time ever she suffered and revealed that she had lung issues. She got hospitalized 2 times for that, she is ok for now with medications and inhaler but the thing is her nt pro bnp test shows around 3000- 4000. The dr prescribed meds like Planep 25 and Ecosprin AV 75 that she's taking for a few months. At the time when she suffered lung infection and was hospitalized, it increased around 20k which is now declined for sure. But still it's not getting in a normal range. She also have thyroid and takes medicine for a long time. So any suggestions would be very helpful on how to recover it.

NT proBNP test is a bit higher than normal, which indicate a heart related issue. To be on the safer side the doctor prescribed you Ecosprin To know the exact cause better, I suggest get a 2D echo. This will give us a clear picture of your heart and help decide the right treatment. no need to panic this is just a evaluation keep things under control.
