My mother has EF 40-45℅, Moderate LV systolic dysfunction,Grade 1 diastolic dysfunction, septal hypokinesia. She has on medicines (Met XL 100,Vyamada 50 twice a day, Cilacar T(10/40), Forixga 10,Minipress XL 2.5. Recently she has diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and rheumatologist doctor has prescribed HCQ 200. Is it safe for heart? Can she take it?

Check for ECG / Sodium / potassium levels If it is normal than you can start under physician / cardiologist care
