I've been hearing the blood flow in my left ear for quite a while(2 years maybe)its gotten worse and sometimes it really effects my hearing ability is it something to worry about what can i do about it?

As per your description you are suffering from tinnitus..it's multifactorial.. need to rule out any vascular mass/malformation.. eustachian tube dysfunction and so on.. visit an ENT specialist for opinion..
