21 month old baby head soft spot is not closed completely. How long does it take to close. Shal I wait one more month or do I need to consult doctor. She is active and achieved all the milestone

The soft spots are known as fontanelles.The posterior fontanelle takes six weeks to 3 months..if you baby is active, Nothing to worry about it..

Its normal. It might take upto 3 to 4 years to fuse that bone. But for some it may close early too.

How about other activities like crawling turn over, etc are they as per the age, if so then no need to worry, is your baby a preterm baby Let me know
