Doctor, i'm 14 years old. I had one head CT scan in the age of 3-6 (i can't mention the exact age when i got the scan). I don't know whether it was contrast or non-contrast CT scan. Now: 1)Is i'm in increased risk of cancer due to the scan? 2) When will the extra risk expire? Will the extra risk remain lifetime or will it end after a specific time? Please answer, Doctor.

Forget about it. Risk of getting cancer with other carcinogenic agents in our environment is much higher. So relax and exposure to just one exposure to CT scan would not cause cancer.
