Hba1c normal but sugar is high

Hello respected doctor. My fbs is 180 ppbs 295 but hba1c is 6.2 ? What thats means? I never have sugar before!

HbA1c is the average of last 3 months where as FBS and PPBS can tell us how well the medications along with your diet your sugar levels are under control or off the limit . In your case it’s over the limit. Please consult

HbA1c tells sugar control in last 3 months. High sugars . Can be because of increased rice or sweet consumption day or before of giving sample for blood tests.
