Hba1c is 7.1 and average is 154 plz help

Hello I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes..since then my doctor put me on glycomet sr 500 twice...but honestly I was not taking that religiously... Now this is my latest HBA1C report..and my skin doc told me that I have LSC .. So should I continue with glycomet sr500 twice? Also my sgpt and sgot levels are high 158 and 110 respectively.
