Having umbilical hernia ...can u suggest

USG has shown that am having 2cm hernia for my umbilical cord ...that means am having umbilical hernia...is it dangerous??...surgery is mandatory or not... Can you please suggest precautions or else can I use hernia belt

it may increase ( defect) based on your lifestyle and age. avoid excessive lifting weights r exercises avoid prolong cough r constipation. belt acts as supports, will not decrease the problem..
