My muscles of left thigh are very weak which I can feel myself when comparing it from my right thigh. Now I am doing exercise to strengthen it and able to do most of the exercise like half squats full squats except step exercise that is when I am puting load on my left knee and putting my right leg down I am able to touch the lower step and feeling pained. Kindly suggest what exactly has happened to me and how can I overcome the problem.
