Hand pain during pregnancy

I am 8th month pregnant I am having severe hand pain dat to right hand. Is it common r some problematic please suggest something to get relief

I would like add here that the oral drugs need to be avoided at this stage of pregnancy but local application of many oils, sprays, cremes & gels can be tried. It is important to show to a doctor to ascertain the cause of pain.
