70yr old woman underwent a pelvic bone surgery. After a few days, she started hallucinating about different things and daily routines. If it is the effect of anesthesia, then how long would it last, probably a day or two not longer. can u please get back with an explanation.

This cannot be the effect of anesthesia She would need a detailed assessment by blood investigations, her electrolytes After any hip surgery, especially at this age, there could be some changes in her metabolism and routine physiology that could have psychiatric manifestations
Next Steps
you need to consult a psychiatrist or a physician to rule out medical causes for this. please consult as soon as possible as this is a serious condition

It is common for elderly to go into a confused state  with disorientation, especially after a major surgery. During such a state, they can suffer from hallucinations. With appropriate medical management & after treating the cause, the patient should be able to come out of it.
