Sir, I some 5-6 years back suffered from typhoid and my hair went a great loss during that period . I though haven't gone back the density and thickness I once had in my hair. I had an issue of dandruff but I used the medicated shampoo named " ketomac " which helped me in coping up dandruff. But even after all these years my hair density and thickness has not increased . I have been advised to take biotin supplement but I'm not so sure for the products don't seem safe to me . Neither the tonics suggested by online companies claiming to solvey issue. What should I do.?

There are many causes which can lead to hair thinning and reduced density. One is any disease related, as in your case was typhoid some years back. Usually hair regrowth occurs almost completely within 6-9 months. If your hair thinning is still continuing, we need to rule out male pattern baldness or other reasons for chronic hairloss. You can consult online with pictures, so that we can assess the cause of your reduced hair density, and treat accordingly.
