After discontinuing the treatment after 8 months the problem of excessive hair fall from the roots started again. I have frontal oily scalp and occipital area dry! And on scratching white dry residue like comes out! I'm currently taking biotin and protein a lot but no use! Recent diagnose case of PCOD Just wanna know will these changes revert back to normal once the PCOD prob subsided? What more I can do

Treatment depends on the grade...You are suffering from hormonal changes causing Androgenetic alopecia causing hair fall. It's completely stoppable even regrowth of hair is possible with certain medications without any side effects. Treatment depends on the grade of hair loss. So, it's a must for diagnosing which grade, you are in for an effective treatment. Please  send photos of your head, by direct online consultation for accurate diagnosis and proper treatment.

Don't self treat yourself especially with finasteride at this age. PCOS is a condition you are born with. It manifests itself differently in different people. Consult online for proper evaluation and treatment
Next Steps
Consult online and follow professional advice. Don't self treat, it can be dangerous
