Hair Fall Since Few Months

2018-08-04 06:11:45
I'm experiencing quite a bit of hairfall since the past few months. I cannot see any sort of hair loss happening yet, but I'm getting slightly worried about it. I changed my hair oil & my oiling pattern and frequency as well along with my shampoo. Back in the day, I used to apply Vatika Hair Oil about once or twice in 15 days but shampoo almost everyday with Head & Shoulders Shampoo & conditioner. Now I use Parachute & Boutique Bhringraj Therapeutic Oil every alternate day, respectively; and shampoo with Khadi Natural Neem Anti HairFall Shampoo every day. Some days it feels there is a difference while some other days it feels not much has changed. Kindly advise with recommendations.

There are many reasons for hairfall or thinning of hair on the scalp. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin. Moreover, you should never self treat with anything. Please call me or send photographs using online consult option for proper diagnosis and detailed prescription.
