Is there any medical rule that the blood sample for the Double Marker Test can only be collected after the NT (Nuchal Translucency) scan report is available? A local clinic informed us that the NT scan report must come first, and only then can the blood sample be taken. However, I have heard that in many diagnostic centres both the NT scan and Double Marker blood test are done on the same day.
