Bleeding once from one tooth may be due to trauma from sudden hit during brushing.. if bleeding comes from gum then it's due to plaque  deposition between tooth & gum causing gingivitis.
Next Steps
If bleeding stops spontaneously from that particular space it's fine..   if blood comes everytime when brushing its need to be checked for caries or Periodontal pocket due to food lodgement or gingivitis..
Health Tips
Visit Dental surgeon to confirm whether other issues are there for bleeding..

- Bleeding gums can occur because of several problems like Gingivitis, Infection in a tooth or the gum or brushing too hard - One should get the teeth cleaning done every 6 months to maintain good oral hygiene because it not only promotes healthy gums but moreover it stops gum disease and fights bad breath. - Meanwhile, you can start with warm saline rinses( i.e pinch of salt in lukewarm water).
Next Steps
Visit a dentist nearby and get the scaling done.
Health Tips
-Brush twice daily. -Avoid hard brushing. -Warm saline rinses 3 to 4 times a day.
