Gum receding and yellow line at roots

2022-05-03 16:04:58
Hello Doctor, Before 2 days, i had experienced pain inside an top tooth especially while chewing and putting pressure. But after doing salt gargle, it became fine within 2 days. Now, there is no pain. But i can see slightly wound type mark on the gum where it was causing pain. I thought it's ulcer or something which happens inside mouth. So, i didn't put much attention to it. Now, i can see at that point gum has been slightly pulled back. I am not sure whether it's due to brushing at that side harshly or massaging (i had done this during pain). I have attached a pic of that area and also there are yellow line deposits under root of teeth. Could you please advise me which steps should i take ?

Nothing to worry. Just go for a professional cleaning and then start using soft tooth brush with proper brushing technique.

The yellow deposits are calculus and you will need a professional cleaning to take care of it. The pulling back of the gum could be due to the massaging or brushing harshly, it could also be due to any other kind of trauma, or it may possibly be due to some decay present in the tooth that may have progressed to the hum and bone.
Next Steps
kindly visit your family dentist to further diagnose and treat the problem

Just leave it as it is for 5-7 days. Don't touch or irritate it. Its just a small brushing trauma. You need to do ultrasonic scaling to remove the yellow calculus.
Next Steps
Visit dentist for clinical examination and ultrasonic scaling.
Health Tips
Do not try any home remedies to remove calculus.
