hello, you can do warm salt water rinses as home remedy. but that will give you only temporary relief from pain. you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done. it is better to see the case clinically for a proper treatment plan.

Hello sir, There's no point in swallowing pain killers when the actual problem is not being solved and also you cannot take antibiotics and painkillers so long and that too without a doctor prescription... I am advising you this because the bacteria causing the infection can become resistant and will become difficult to treat.. pls have a read on antibiotic abuse..

Hello, Sir,you need to visit a periodontist ASAP.Do not take over the counter medicines from the chemist.Tablets are only to give you symptomatic relief and to contain the infection and not the solution to the problem.you need to get the treatment done for complete relief.Regards,Dr Sumanmakam,Dental arts, jayanagar,Bangalore

Hello sir. The paunkillers n antibiotics will only reduce the paun n infection but it does not eliminate causative factor. Its like you taking painkillers for a thorn prick n complaining of pain inspite of being on painkillers. Visit your dentist n get the treatment suggestion from doctor n follow accordingly. Take care.
