Hello, bleeding gums could be because of deposits on your teeth or food lodged between your teeth. Visit a dentist get your scaling and polishing done. Brush twice daily, maintain proper brushing technique, floss regularly and rinse after every meal. Visit your dentist every 6 months.

Gum bleeding in lay man terms is a signal of the body to the individual that your gums are infected.( Any problem in the body e.g. when there is Infection in the body, Body tries to make you aware of the spreading infection usually by pain/fever/swelling/bleeding). Hi,You have to get a professional teeth cleanning done from dentist to get rid of tartar which are yellow deposits on teeth by which the bleeding gum problem will completely go.You can use a mouthwash or apply gumex gum paint for gum strengthening.Ideally teeth cleaning should be done 6 monthly to yearly.

Gum bleeding is sign of periodontitis. Treatment involves scaling root planing and re evaluation after 3 weeks. Most of the time scaling is sufficient but few cases require further treatment like flap surgery. So first of all get scaling done visit dentist. No medicine is useful but only mechanical therapy will do wonders.
