Recently I was having left testicle pain and lower abdomen pain .so my general physician asked to perform USG ABODMEN and pelvis also USG scrotal Doppler . In USG they gave finding of 2mm and 3mm stones on left kidney with thick walled urinary bladder . And enlarged prostate measured 3.7×3.7×3.7 cm, volume 27.6cc. I want to know what is the cause of prostate enlargement and what further steps need to be done further to shrink it prostate to normal.

27.6 cc is not much good enlarged. Normal prostate size range from 20-25 cc. Slight enlargement may be normal/ or due to infection/ just observer variation. At thi size no need of any treatment. As treatment required for symptoms caused by prostate (of whatever size) not by size of prostate on ultrasound. You just relax and leave this stress for expert.
